(Anyone who witnesses you activate this Effect is very likely to be disturbed to see Beetles and flies. You must actively and obviously be using Martha's Mask.)

Mummies are well known in the supernatural world with the ability to reach out to others through odd means. Brian takes the Martha's mask that he recently acquired and uses it to focus his message. He sits and concentrates as he lights a few candles. His beetles and flies cover his body as he reaches through the aether to speak with those that need him.

Spend an Action to activate. Select a target any distance away from you. You must have a specific target in mind, but you require only an intuitive understanding of them, such as their name, face, or Location. You must actively and obviously use Martha's Mask to activate this Effect.

You open up a line of communication to your target, and may converse with them as long as you maintain Concentration

The conversation will only be perceived by the intended recipient. You must share a common language for your target to understand the message.

Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see Beetles and flies.

This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.

After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.

  • When narrating disturbing content, be cognizant of your group's tone and accommodating to those who would like to "fast forward" through the description.

Spend an Action. This Effect cannot be used unless both you & any potential targets are within the same Postal Code. You must actively and obviously use Imperial Raiment to activate this Effect.

You may send a single message to all targets which are within a specified range. It can be no more complicated than a multi-page letter or a long email.

This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.

  • Generally you cannot communicate with Contractors who are not in a Contract with you.

This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is a prominent vein can be seen pulsing on her forehead. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
