A Jack of Clubs is thrown, as it makes its way towards the target its form shifts into that of a blackjack, a bludgeoning weapon intended for dazing people, just prior to impact. A few moments after impact the blackjack will crumple apart and dissapear.
Spend an Action and use up this Jack of Clubs. Make a Playing Card attack at a Animate target within normal attack range. Roll 7 dice Difficulty 6, penalty does not apply. The target may roll to dodge or defend, as normal for Playing Card attacks. The attack does not deal Damage, but the Effect does.
If you succeed, the target will suffer a dice penalty equal to the Outcome for the next 2 Rounds. Dice pools may be reduced all the way down to 0 by this penalty. This breaks Concentration.
Bu fang takes some spare ingredients he find, upon which, he will then cook and turn into food that not only satisfy the body, but due to how good they are... The relaxation and warmth from the food heals not only the mind, but the body too. Not only that, but the meal is so good, that just the smell alone drags the soul back into the body, forcing it to restart in a attempt to eat the meal.
Edit: Pretty standard support ability. Nothing to change about it, though you may as well keep the After Care instructions since you have it on another power. Added here to recover a point
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. Select a Living or Dead target within arm's reach. You must use up 1 lb of food in order to activate this Effect. Choose a specific Injury on your target that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Charisma + Crafts at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain. Your patient is required to home cooked meals for the next month. If they violate this rule, your treatment is immediately reversed.
If you begin healing an Injury on a target that has been dead for less than a minute, and your healing reduces their Wound Level to a non-lethal level, their life is restored.
After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.
A large black inky mass of mouths appear from Lacey's body, disfiguring his body itself briefly while the effect is being activated, and attempts to bite the victim of the attack.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within 45 feet. Roll Brawn + Occult Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 4.
Any Injury inflicted is considered unstabilized even if its Severity is less than 4. The equipment and roll required to Stabilize it is treated as though it is a minimum of Severity 6.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see foul creature with many a mouth.
The fear of the dark has been around as long as there have been things that were not one with it. It is in the blood, the instinct, the very fabric of existence to fear or at least respect the dark. Rose simply heightens that instinct and makes it overwhelming.
Expend a point of Battery and spend an Action. Select a Sapient or Creature target within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless target must be in the dark. Roll Charisma+Occult at Difficulty 6. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 8 with a -3 dice penalty. If they are incapacitated or unconscious, they fail automatically and their Outcome is 0.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes Mind damage equal to the Contested Outcome. If you deal at least 3 Mind damage, the target will gain fear of the dark as a Trauma. This Trauma may be removed by Effects or mundane therapy, as normal. Affected targets are aware that they are being attacked and can generally tell who did it.
The user begins impulsively scratching their hands as if they have a tick. Their nails start being filled with dust that materalises on their palms and once it's completely scratched off the dust is carried by "the wind" and brought to the target. Exposure to the dust slowly makes the target drowsy before they drop unconscious on the spot.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Living target within 30 feet. Make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect. Roll Intellect + Influence at Difficulty 6. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, your target becomes drowsy for the next 3 Rounds, during which time they suffer an additional -2 dice Penalty to all Actions. After this, they fall asleep for Outcome x 3 minutes.
Affected targets will not prematurely wake up on their own, and can only be awoken by taking Damage or nearing death from hunger, thirst, or suffocation.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is flecks of dust starting to materialize on your palms.. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Enervation.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Fear of Losing Consciousness, after you wake up from any period of unconsciousness, roll a self-control to avoid hunting down the source..
Harry must use the tool (In the case of his uncle's runed multitool, probably the knife or metal file from it) to etch the same bindrune into an object. This takes him about 30 seconds. At the end, he focuses his mind to infuse the new rune precisely with power and intent and it begins to faintly glow. If he has carved and infused the rune properly it will become a natural part of the object (embossed, stamped, or part of the design of the paint or finish, but appearing as though it belongs) and the object will be restored to a proper state and functionality. Failure will see the rune harmlessly spark out and remain a crude carving.
Spend 10 Rounds. Select a Object within arm's reach that is no larger than an SUV. Cannot be used on Alien technology. You must actively and obviously use a tool marked with a combined rune of ᛐ and ᛒ to activate this Effect. More than half the target object must be present in order to begin repairs. Roll Dexterity + Crafts at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, your target is repaired back to a functional state. If you fail, you spend the full time working before realizing you cannot repair the target.
After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.
The Skeleton Key slips easily into any keyhole and turns without a fuss.
Spend an Action.
You may lock, unlock, and/or open any number of doors, locks, or locked targets within arm's reach of you. Cannot be used on Alien technology.
If you successfully operate a lock, you may choose to destroy it, rendering it inoperable.
The creature's claws rip through the poor, defenseless doctor's coat, opening deep gashes in their gut. It bares its fangs to lunge for the killing blow, but the doctor looks up at the attacker. Their eyes filed not with utter terror at their imminent demise, only a look of disappointment and pity. Touched, the monster hesitates. . .
This Effect activates whenever you receive a Severity 2 or higher Injury from an attack. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Select a Living target within 45 feet. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. Affected targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, for the next minute, your target will do things they otherwise wouldn’t have done, inspired by remorse for hurting such a pure soul. They will not necessarily display their emotions in an obvious way.
Actions they take will be in keeping with their character and the way they tend to deal with strong emotions. They will be unlikely to change their mind about any actions taken or decisions made until after the Effect ends.

You jump to the chosen location. If the landing is precarious, the GM may call for a roll to land safely. You will never take fall damage from successfully landing a jump made with this Effect.
You may opt to trade your free movement for a Super Leap if you are jumping less than 50 feet or if you are closing a gap to an opponent and spend your Action on an attack.
The magician dons their wizard hat, raises their arms, wiggles their fingers, and a rain of sparks fly woosh around an object. It shudders to life and follows the magicians commands, including to do things it was not designed to do.
