You gain the following benefits at all times. You must actively and obviously be using A polished wood or metal rod (wand) to gain the benefits of this Effect.
You can interact with things that are within 300 feet without needing to physically touch them or be near them. Any rolls made for Actions taken in this way use a Mental Strength of 6 in place of your Brawn rating, a Mental Agility of 1 in place of your Dexterity, and otherwise use your own Attributes and Abilities.
Telekinetic actions have the following restrictions and behaviors:
Bo Perkins' years of stubbornness (some would say idiocy or meanness) have paid off as his psychic powers have begun to manifest, and it is remarkably difficulty to influence his mind, even supernaturally.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You get +1 dice to any Mind resistance rolls you make. You also gain the following effects:
Microscopic equations coalesce to form runes etched in the brassy metal circlet around my skull, hiding just behind the hairline. When this power is actively used the runes glow faintly white which stands out starkly against my dark hair.
You gain the following benefits as long as you have your circlet of brassy metal around my skull.
Your Intellect rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Intellect (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

If you succeed, you create a Barrier around your target, which absorbs the next Outcome Damage. The Damage reduction from the Barrier is applied before Armor, and is treated like Armor by any effects such as Armor Penetration. You may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
You must maintain Concentration while using this Effect. The Barrier will fall if you are interrupted, or if it absorbs the full amount of damage. When a Barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds.

To those within twenty feet of the user, they would hear the hissing cadance as well but also have a compulsion to obey their commands. Those beyond twenty feet or viewing audio or visual recordings will not be affected by the gift.

You cannot issue another suggestion to the target until 10 minutes after they have completed the first command or 10 minutes after a failure.
They will be unaware that they are under any sort of compulsion until the effect wears off, but they will appear obviously mind-controlled the entire time to anyone observing them. If you fail, they realize that you were attempting to influence them supernaturally with your command.
Your command can be an order to take an immediate Action and a conditional request. You cannot order a target to "do nothing," and they are free to take other Actions as they fulfill your request. Your command cannot be obviously self-endangering or self-destructive. Commands may force a target to violate one of their Limits, and they will need to make a Trauma roll once the suggestion wears off.

You may opt to trade your free movement for a Super Leap if you are jumping less than 50 feet or if you are closing a gap to an opponent and spend your Action on an attack.
