Legacy Power: Respect The Badge

When Sheriff Perkins speaks, people tend to listen

A 2 Gift Suggestion Power used by Bo Perkins, created by BobDylan530.

Description

Sheriff Perkins can flash his badge and bark out orders to a person or a crowd, and they will have trouble ignoring his command.

System

Exert your Mind, spend an Action issuing your Suggestion to an Animate target within 20 feet, and roll Charisma + Influence Difficulty 6. You must communicate your command. The target may resist by rolling Mind, Difficulty 6 as a Free Action. If you succeed, the target will follow your command for Outcome in rounds.

Your command may be no more complex than Simple commands, mostly single word (sit, come here, run). Your command cannot be obviously self-endangering, destructive, or in violation of the target's Limits.

Enhancements

  • Concealed (Using this Effect is not obvious. Choose a Tell that occurs only when you use the Effect; if-- and only if-- someone suspects that a Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.)
    • Tell - Waves his badge in the air

  • Groupthink (You can affect a number of targets up to your Charisma rating.)

Drawbacks

  • Focus (Using this Effect requires a specific kind of item.)
    • Object - Police badge

Parameters

Duration: 1 ( Outcome in rounds ) Complexity: 1 ( Simple commands, mostly single word (sit, come here, run) )
