This Artifact grants you the power to observe things at a distance.
Used by Luke Griffin, Created by carsick.
(You are obviously concentrating while projecting your senses. You must use this Artifact obviously when activating this Effect.)

The artifact contains an ethereal flame, which lies dormant until activated. Once activated the user can see their surroundings illuminated by a faith ethereal light that pierces obstacles. Others see the dormant gray flame awaken and flicker in its housing. (The flame longs to be real, encouraging the user to start more fires.)

Exert your Mind and spend an Action.

You may perceive things within 15 feet of you with perfect clarity as though there were no walls or obstacles blocking your view for the next 30 minutes. You must maintain Concentration to keep up the effect.

You may perceive through up to 15 feet of material. The Difficulty of all Perception rolls made through a wall are increased by 1 per wall.

Anyone who touches this Artifact will notice it warping their mind and may drop it. If they choose to hold or use it, they immediately receive the following Trauma: pyromania, any time you encounter a new flammable object, you must succeed a Self-Control roll to avoid attempting to set it on fire. If they lose possession of this Artifact, the Trauma heals over the course of the next day.

  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Really, Archie can’t stand not knowing what’s going on. His interns and employees always suspected Archie could tell what was going on without him there, but now he doesn’t need to check security cameras…

Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect.

You may perceive things within 75 feet of you as though there were no walls or obstacles blocking your view for the next five minutes.

This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is Archie presses his hands to his eyes. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.

Any Perception rolls made through obstacles are rolled at +1 Difficulty.

  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Expend a point of Battery and spend an Action. Select a target Location within 75 feet.

You may perceive things as if you were standing at that Location for the next 30 minutes. You may move your senses back and forth between your projected location and your real location without prematurely ending the effect. You may only have one projected location active at a time.

Others near you may choose to observe what you are perceiving by Twitch Stream.

While this is active, your senses may travel from their initial Location to explore the surrounding area. They may move at up to 5 x Perception feet per round.

You create a visible manifestation at the Location where your senses are projected which looks like Larceny the Cockatiel.

  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Expend a point of Battery and spend an Action to activate.

You may perceive things through Sight within 75 feet of you as though there were no walls or obstacles blocking your view for the next 3 rounds. You must maintain Concentration to keep up the effect.

Any Perception rolls made through obstacles are rolled at +1 Difficulty.

  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.

This Effect activates whenever someone talks about Margaret. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Select a target Location within 75 feet. Your target should be intuitively based on the triggering event.

You may perceive things through hearing as if you were standing at that Location for the next 30 minutes. You may move your senses back and forth between your projected location and your real location without prematurely ending the effect. You may only have one projected location active at a time.

You create a visible manifestation at the Location where your senses are projected which looks like A woman's shadow looming behind.

  • When triggered, the Effect activation resolves immediately after the triggering Action. It is not Reaction speed.
  • This does not satisfy the Line of Sight requirement for targeted Effects.

Exert your Mind and spend one minute. Select a target Location within 75 feet. You may select a target at any range if you use up something the target has slept with of the target.

You may perceive things as if you were standing at that Location for the next 30 minutes. You must maintain Concentration to keep up the effect. You cannot perceive anything at your physical location while the effect is active.

This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is you fall asleep. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.

You create a visible manifestation at the Location where your senses are projected which looks like a black bird that could either be a raven or a crow.

  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Stock Project Senses Gifts

This Effect activates whenever someone talks about you. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Select a target Location within 75 feet.

You may perceive things through hearing as if you were standing at that Location for the next 30 minutes. You must maintain Concentration to keep up the effect. You cannot perceive anything at your physical location while the effect is active.

  • When triggered, the Effect activation resolves immediately after the triggering Action. It is not Reaction speed.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.
