Similar to his paralysis induction, Laz extends a hand and emits a cloud of nanites, appearing to normal human vision as dust motes, toward a target. These are more aggressive, however, upon entering the target's system. They assault the mind, manipulating neurochemical receptors to induce extreme stress and guilt for any harmful actions. If they affect the target strongly enough, a permanent, pervasive aversion to harming others may result.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Sapient target within 20 feet. Roll Intellect+Medicine at Difficulty 6. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 8. If they are incapacitated or unconscious, they fail automatically and their Outcome is 0.

This Trauma may be removed by Effects or mundane therapy, as normal. Affected targets are aware that they are being attacked and can generally tell who did it.

You are able to view your target's memories. The target is aware that their thoughts are being probed but not of the source of the probe. The Effect ends if the target moves out of range or your Concentration is interrupted.
You may ask specific questions about their memory - “what is their computer password,” “What were they doing at 4:00PM yesterday,” etc - but you cannot get answers to broad, analytical questions like “are they a good person?” or “what are their plans for the future?”
Each question takes as long as it takes to answer to read. When replaying a full memory, it is replayed in double time.

A root easily tripped across, a car that grazes them as they're crossing the street, or perhaps a monkey in a nearby tree haphazardly tossing a coconut-
The target will find themselves incredibly accident-prone, taking a minor 1 point injury per day, randomly.
Their 'destiny' is ripped away from them, and it's as though the universe itself is conspiring against them. A bird may fly in front of their fireball as they throw it. They may get accosted by a more of dust blown up their nose and randomly sneeze and interrupt themselves as they try to do a power.
This does not summon anything new, or create a disease in the target, it just ensures something in the environment will hurt them when the damage is 'due'
Randomly aggressive animals and freak accidents are usually how to damage is dealt.

During this time, they remain fully conscious and aware of their surroundings but are incapable of taking any actions.
Sleeping targets will not prematurely wake up on their own, but may still be woken up by sudden loud noises, being jarred or splashed with water, taking Damage, or similar rousing events. They will also awaken before dying of hunger, thirst, or suffocation. Drowsy targets always fall asleep, regardless of what happens while they are drowsy.
