Like so many of the plagues in the past, Mary has learned to use the animals of the world to spread her cause across the world.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Non-Alien Creature within 20 feet.

For the next day, you may issue specific commands to your target which they will be compelled to follow.

Your commands must be relatively simple and within the target’s intellectual grasp. You cannot make them obviously endanger themselves or violate their instinct for self-preservation. The effects of the command will fade after a day has passed.

  • Your commands must be directly communicated to your target in some way, though this does not require a shared language.
  • If targeting a Sapient target that counts as a Creature due to an Effect, you must succeed a contested Mind roll. You roll at Difficulty 6, and the target rolls at Difficulty 8.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Community Command Creature Gifts

Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Creature within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless Must feed the creature or otherwise provide a service to the creature.

The effects of the command will fade after a day has passed. You must maintain Concentration while your commands are being carried out, or the effect will end prematurely.

Anyone who touches this Artifact will notice it warping their mind and may drop it. If they choose to hold or use it, they immediately receive the following Trauma: Abnormality Whispers. If they lose possession of this Artifact, the Trauma heals over the course of the next day.

The second step on the path of creating the perfect being. If he’s to provide proper testing and augmentation, his subject must be sensible enough to work alongside him.

For the next day, you may issue specific commands to your target which they will be compelled to follow. All other Creatures which are the same species as your target will also be compelled to follow commands that you issue if they are within 300 feet when the command is given.

If you use this Effect on the same Creature two days in a row, the effect lasts indefinitely.

Emrick, of course, is a crow in his truest form. Being semi-human doesn’t just stop him from being able to communicate with his species, though he needs some helpful materials for persuasion to get them past the initial avoidance of human-looking people.
