You gain the following benefits as long as you have your piercing, moon-like eyes.

Your Perception rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Perception (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Pursuit: Once you're on the case, you refuse to give it up. You must succeed a Self-Control roll to "back-down" or otherwise quit on a lead, angle, or encounter and Lone Wolf: You prefer to operate alone, disliking the company of others. In order to start a conversation with someone you have known for less than an hour, you must succeed a Self-Control roll. If you become the center of attention in a large group, you must succeed a Self-Control roll to avoid fleeing or shutting down.

If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Clear-Sighted: If you see an illusion, disguise, or other false reality, you recognize it as such but cannot immediately see through it.
  • Constant Vigilance: You cannot be ambushed or caught-flat footed when awake. When asleep, you can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6 to wake up in time.
  • Seeing Double: The ranges of all your senses are multiplied by 2.
  • Sherlock: You may Exert your Mind to deduce the originating chain of events that led to a particular detail of an individual or environment. This Effect reveals information that is not discoverable by a mundane investigation. You may not use this Effect on the same target more than once in a 24 hour period.
  • Can't Unsee: Any Trauma rolls you make are rolled at +2 Difficulty.

  • You can still be ambushed if you are incapacitated, stunned, or being kept unconscious supernaturally.
  • Sherlock: The amount of information received is limited at the GM's discretion but should at least contain some information that would not be learned from a mundane investigation.
  • If your piercing, moon-like eyes is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months.
  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.
