Technological Form

1
You possess an augmented or inhuman body.
Used by Aira (Ashley Scott), Created by August.
(Your specific augmentation must be physically visible in some way, but it does not need to make you appear outwardly monstrous or socially unacceptable. )

Aira bears a silicon-like skin that envelopes her form, with metallic bones and muscles underneath her skin. Using her higher bodily and mental capacity, her arm glows a dull green as she summons a plethora of psychic constructs that function similarly to the bullets of an assault rifle as they cycle around her right arm before being shot out, just as fast, though not as strong as the real thing.

You are permanently and visibly transformed: Silicon-like skin. You are considered to be a Sapient, Non-Living Computer when targeted. Your Dexterity is increased by 1.

Your Injuries no longer degrade with time.

You may make a +2 Weapon Damage Mental assault (Right arm (Assault rifle (Dex+Firearms))) attack without additional equipment.

You cannot ignore or decrease the effects of Stress for any social rolls you make.

The Severity of any Injury caused by magic is increased by 2.

  • The increase in Injury Severity stacks with any similar effects, such as the Silver Bullets drawback on Regeneration.
  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

If you would take an Injury that would kill you, you donโ€™t die. Instead, you survive in an Incapacitated state. This state lasts for the next hour, at which point you fully return to life.

While Incapacitated, your only weakness is destroying Hecate's bird band, and if you take Damage from it, you will die. Damage from other sources will still be dealt and can cause Battle Scars, but will only kill you if your body is destroyed completely. If your weakness is not immediately obvious, attackers may roll to discover it. After you return, the Injury that would have killed you, as well as any Injuries sustained while Incapacitated, are healed. Battle scars obtained during this time remain.

After you recover from near death, you may roll Body at Difficulty 7. Success will stabilize any remaining Injuries.

You gain the following benefits as long as you are raging.

Your Brawn rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Brawn (cannot be used on combat rolls or Effect activations).

You also gain the following effects:

  • Heavy Hitter: Successful attacks made with Brawn will either knock your target back Outcome x 5 feet, or knock them down to the ground. Choose which effect the attack will have prior to rolling for it.
  • Tough: You gain Armor equal to half your Brawn rating. This Armor cannot be penetrated and protects against falling Damage.
  • Ham-Fisted: You cannot limit yourself when handling delicate objects or physically interacting with people. You may need to roll Dexterity + Athletics to avoid breaking things or causing unintended injury.

  • Armor from multiple sources does not stack. Instead, the highest is used.
  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

You are permanently and visibly transformed: Blazing Form: Skin is hot to the touch, eyes faintly glow and a smell of smoke always follows in your wake. You are considered to be a Sapient, Living being when targeted..

You are immune to damage from cold. If cold is a substantial component of other damage you would take (e.g. falling from a great distance into a vat of liquid nitrogen), that damage is reduced by 2 (in addition to Armor)

You no longer age naturally, and supernatural attempts to age you fail.

You are immune to damage from heat and flames. If heat is a substantial component of other damage you would take (e.g. slashed with a flaming sword), that damage is reduced by 2 (in addition to Armor)

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Righteous Anger: You must roll Self-Control to avoid fighting anyone who commits an injustice, even if it would put your life at risk.

You cannot be mistaken for a normal human. You cannot always use standard human clothes, equipment, vehicles, and facilities, and when you can, you suffer an increased Difficulty.

  • Your heat resistance does not extend to your equipment. Fire does not degrade this effect over time.
  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

  • Bullseye: If you are not making an attack, any projectile you fire will be considered a complete success without needing to make a roll.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

Any Injury you receive heals quickly, reducing its Severity by one level every day. Any Injuries you receive while this Effect is active automatically count as a successful Proper Stabilization and do not deteriorate further. Any Battle Scars caused by such an Injury will heal with the Injury.

You may choose to heal any Battle Scar on yourself that is not caused by an Injury. Recovery takes one day, and the Battle Scar affects you fully until that time.

Anyone who detects you cannot determine any visual details about you beyond your general shape.

While this Effect is active, any Effect that would obscure you from other, additional senses fails automatically. If someone discovers you, this Effect will not help you hide from them for the next minute. This Effect does not end early when you activate an obvious Effect, attack, or receive an Injury.

  • GMs should use their discretion when determining the exact impacts of this Effect, particularly in conjunction with environmental factors. Standing still against a complex background may render you impossible to detect, and footprints in snow may make it easy. A chance to detect you is not guaranteed.
