This Artifact allows you to detect all nearby Supernatural Weapons.
Used by Naaranbatar, Created by Protean.
(You must actively and obviously be using up a bottle of Ink. You must use this Artifact obviously when activating this Effect.)

The parchment will soak up any Ink poured onto it and after a whole bottle and a bit of waiting, it will show a circle and a dot, symbolising the user. Around them are appear crosses, marking the spots where weapons can be found. Pivoting the map shifts the crosses to show the new spots in relation of height. If there are no targets in near the user, the map shows an arrow in the direction of the nearest weapon with a distance measured in karys.
The item can be used a few times before dripping with ink, which will evaporate one bottle a day.

Karys is an ancient Central Asian unit of length and measures the distance between your extended pinky and thumb or about 16-20 cm.

Expend a point of Battery and spend one minute. You must use up a bottle of Ink in order to activate this Effect.

You automatically detect all Supernatural Weapons within 300 feet of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. You do not learn any details about the detected items.

Even if there are no Supernatural Weapons within 300 feet of you, you become aware of the direction the closest one is in, as well as a rough sense of its distance from you.

To effectively remove weapons you need to know where they are. The user of this artifact will be able to see through solid matter to find weapons.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action.

You may perceive things within 75 feet of you with perfect clarity as though there were no walls or obstacles blocking your view for the next 30 minutes.

Others near you may choose to observe what you are perceiving by engaging in physical contact.

You may perceive through up to 15 feet of material. The Difficulty of all Perception rolls made through a wall are increased by 1 per wall.

  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action.

You automatically detect all corpses at least as big as a mouse within 50 feet of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. You do not learn any details about the detected items.

Even if there are no corpses at least as big as a mouse within 50 feet of you, you become aware of the direction the closest one is in, as well as a rough sense of its distance from you.

  • This includes any objects that come into range during activation.
  • This Effect does not satisfy the line of sight targeting requirement for other Effects.

Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Stroking the mirror along it's entire sides, while repeating "Mirror mirror oh so tiny, Please show me something shiny". You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.

You automatically detect all Artifacts within 300 feet of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. When you detect objects, instead of learning nothing about them, you may observe each object with all of your senses.

The means by which any Artifacts are hidden or disguised is made clear to you, as well as how to access them if they are secured. This includes objects secured via the Stash Effect.

You automatically detect all object that are designed to detect people, including tripwires, security cameras, detection lasers, heat sensors, etc within 50 feet of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. When you detect objects, instead of learning nothing about them, you may observe each object with all of your senses.

  • This includes any objects that come into range during activation.
  • This Effect does not satisfy the line of sight targeting requirement for other Effects.

You automatically detect all illegal materials within 50 feet of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. You do not learn any details about the detected items.
