Immersed in a place of death, the Black Coach takes a brief detour through the land of spirits. The earth opens, and you drive down into the sloping pit, emerging from the other side in a similar fashion shortly thereafter.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. Select a Location within your line of sight.

Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend an Action. Select a Location within 50 feet. You must be in an area abundant with water.
Select one of the following alterations to create out of Water originating at the target:
The alteration begins to form when you activate this Effect and finishes forming on your initiative in the next Round. Until it finishes forming, it is not guaranteed to function.
This alteration lasts indefinitely but may be prematurely destroyed or altered. Your alterations may be broken through with appropriate tools. Anyone attempting to break through must roll Brawn + a relevant Ability. A cumulative Outcome of 6 across all attempts breaks a hole large enough to move through. See the extended system text for GM guidance on various tools.
You may sculpt your walls, domes, or tunnels as you create them, without any additional activation time or cost.
Anyone who tries to climb or move across your alterations takes 2 Damage each time they do so. Such alterations are obviously dangerous.
The lawyer waves the contract in the client's face, their eyes dull and unitrested. Having read it once, twice, thrice they finally sign. Confident they have fully understood it. But when they read it again, it's completely different.
Exert your Mind (unless the target has not yet signed a contract with you) and spend 2 Actions. Select a Human target within 20 feet. You must actively and obviously use a contract to activate this Effect. Roll Intellect + Culture at Difficulty 6. The target may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 8.
If the contested Outcome is positive, a specific period of time (up to 1 hour long) from your target’s memory is replaced with new memories of your choosing. This is recorded as a Condition. The level of detail and completeness of the alteration depends on your Outcome. If you fail, the target realizes that you are attempting to alter their memories. Alterations you make must evoke confidence. Any alterations you make must feature yourself as you appear today in some way.
The period is chosen either by time (i.e. “last Friday night”) or by reference to a specific event (i.e. “when the murder occurred”).
Affected targets will invent new memories to justify the inconsistencies. For instance, if their memory was altered to include a new friend they don’t have, they may invent further memories of meeting that friend, spending time with them, etc.
Tam starts to tap her fingers against her side, a soft smile on her face as she looks away a little. This was just another kind of sparring - and she was good at that.

If you succeed, you may issue a single command to the targeted system. This command must have a specific outcome or be a request for specific login credentials. The command you issue must be within the machine's current capabilities. For example, you cannot order a standard security camera to grow legs and walk around.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is fingers tapping against your side. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.

A very faint, silver, ethereal halo (the jagged kind, not the circle kind) appears around Lanie's head as the client begins to share. Conversely, a very visible black ethereal halo appears around the client's head. As the session progresses, the silver halo becomes increasingly visible and the black one becomes faded. The glow vanishes when the client stops sharing or Lanie stops paying attention to them.
Honing her skills, the dogtor can now navigate the broken mind without the client needing to share anything. She can also repair multiple minds at once at any distance.
Exert your Mind to activate. Select a Living target at any distance, provided you are able to communicate. You cannot target yourself. Over the course of one day, your patient must communicate with you and reveal at least one of their Traumas to you, including the details of those Traumas and the circumstances of how they were acquired. After the full treatment time has elapsed, roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6.
If your treatment is successful, you may remove one of the patient's revealed Traumas without incurring any Experience cost.
You may specify a specific condition that the patient must adhere to. If they break this condition, the treatment is immediately reversed. Record this regimen as a Condition.
You may heal a Trauma on any number of targets with a single activation of this Effect, but any Traumas which you treat are revealed to the entire group.

The area within 25 feet of you immediately and obviously becomes imminently dangerous. Roll Charisma + Performance at Difficulty 6. If the Outcome is positive, your blast hits everything within 25 feet of you with Damage equal to your Outcome + 4. Armor is fully effective against this Damage. If you botched the activation roll, you will also take full Damage from the blast, otherwise it will not hurt you.
You may only use this Effect once per day.
The priest channels their true faith into a brutal assault on the consciousness of demonic or unholy creatures. By wielding their favored holy symbol, a gilded crucifix, they can put a proper fear of god into them, leaving them cowering at any truly holy things they encounter.

This Trauma may be removed by Effects or mundane therapy, as normal. Affected targets are aware that they are being attacked and can generally tell who did it.
