Ulysses is a cockatrice human hybrid created by GenWyld. His hands are the clawed talons of the cockatrice and where he has marked himself with their petrifying power his skin has healed over with stone covering. One day, he might grow wings of the cockatrice as well….leathery, lizard-like wings. Like the cockatrice of legend, his fluids are a potent poison to any who would ingest them. He has inherited the beast’s legendary strength as well.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You are permanently and visibly transformed: your hands are bird like talons, and portions of your skin where you’ve healed yourself in the past are made of stone. At a later date, you might also grow visible wings. You are considered to be a Sapient, Living being when targeted. Your Brawn is increased by 1.
Any Animate being that consumes or is injected with your bodily fluids receives a Severity-1 Injury. Every Round, they must roll Body Difficulty 9. If they fail, the Injury worsens by 1 Severity. If they succeed, the Injury stops worsening.

The creature lasts for the next day or until it dies again. It is revived at full health. Any Injuries it had in life are not accounted for when determining its penalties or progression towards re-death, though they may affect its ability to perform certain actions at GM's discretion.
Raised creatures have their Abilities set to the same that they were in life. Their Charisma and Intellect are set to 1, but their Dexterity, Brawn and Perception are the same as they had in life. A raised creature cannot use any Effects.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see dead rising.
The caster kills a small animal like a bunny, cat or small dog. After draining the blood into a bowl or on a plate he recites the necessary incantations, offering the life he just took as recompense and forging a connection to the worlds of spirits and daemons. Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute to activate. You must use up The blood of a freshly killed small animal. in order to activate this Effect.

Dr. Mikel is a master of poisons and contains a wealth of knowledge about nearly all human illnesses and diseases. As long as he can diagnose a poison or disease, and as long as the patient before him as at least consumed an apple's worth of calories, he can alter the chemical components and corresponding toxicity of any drug he has on hand, to suit his purposes. The whole process takes about one minute, after which the patient must down the entire bottle of drugs. They are immediately cured.
Spend 1 minute. Select a Living target within arm's reach. This Effect cannot be used unless the target has consumed at least one apple's worth of calories in the past hour. You must use up a bottle of analgesics, antipyretics, antihistamines, antibiotics, antimalarial, antiviral or antidiarrheal medication in order to activate this Effect.
You may cure any Non-Alien diseases, toxins, or poisons afflicting your target so long as you have fully diagnosed or understood it. You may cure diseases or poisons even if they are not treatable through modern medicine. During treatment, the malady you are treating does not progress or cause additional Damage or other effects. Your patient is required to drink a liter of water per day, and abstain from soft drinks, smoking and alcohol for the next month. If they violate this rule, your treatment is immediately reversed.
Whenever you cure a disease, poison, or toxin, if it had inflicted any Damage, your target is healed for half that Damage.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
Liam hoists the wounded person on his shoulders in a classic Fireman's Carry - a combination of adrenaline, duty, & guilt propel him past any obstacles at startling speed. This movement appears to be improbable luck to the casual observer, with pratfalls, fortuitous stumbling, & similar. If seen from the side of the eye or under certain conditions (as determined by the GM), the truth is revealed: the ghosts that haunt the medic are helping to rescue the patient.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
You may move easily and without a roll in any of the following situations. Lasts 2 hours.

Harold has always had an iron trap mind. He was blessed with a photographic memory that allowed him to easily pass the BAR exam. He always thought it was just a gift from god but potentially it’s a sign that he was meant for more.

The survivalist spends a moment setting up a makeshift booby trap. The tripwires and pressure plates are so expertly hidden, they can only be noticed by those who have fallen victim to them before.
The victim is hit with a tiny curare dart. Pain wracks their body as a potent neurotoxin spreads through their veins.
Exert your Mind and spend 30 seconds to trap a region of any shape that contains your current location and fits entirely within 45 feet. This trap lasts one day or until triggered or disarmed. You must use up a dart in order to activate this Effect. Roll Intellect + Survival Difficulty 6.
The trap looks like a tripwire, a pressure plate, or a hidden switch. Only those who have seen this trap before can identify it as a trap. Anyone who is aware of the trap may intuitively avoid, trigger, or destroy it.
Any Living target that enters the chosen region will trigger the trap. The target may contest by rolling Body, Difficulty 6.
If the contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 4. The target's material Armor is completely ignored.
The target suffers a -3 dice penalty for the next hour or until the Injury is healed. This dice penalty does not stack multiple times on the same target.
Instead of dealing Damage all at once, the Injury caused by this Power starts at Severity 1 and worsens at the rate of one level per Round until it reaches the Severity it would have otherwise been.
The priest's miracles expand into the treatment and curing of poisons and diseases. To do so, they require a ceremonial dedication (or often re-dedication) to the service of their god, during which the priest and the patient pray together and perform ritualistic bloodletting. The beastmaster shouts, and their human voice cracks into a deep, bestial roar. Their body swells with muscle, clothes melting into a thick pelt of fur. Seconds later the beastmaster is gone. Standing in their place is a massive grizzly bear.
However, even in human form the beast within remains close to the surface, and the beastmaster finds highly civilized social situations unbearable.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
You transform into a brown bear for two hours or until you choose to end the Effect. See the Extended System text for stats.
While transformed, you cannot use any equipment (including Artifacts and Consumables), and you cannot use your Active, Direct, or Trap Powers. However, you can use your Passive Powers. Any equipment you are wearing transforms with you.
Injuries and Wound Level are carried over between forms. However, transforming can never kill you; you merely remain Incapacitated until your Injuries are sufficiently healed.
