A portal opens in front of the user which vanishes as quickly as it appears after spewing a Guardian Angel.
The creature looks like a old depiction of humanoid angels, dressed elegantly but seemingly without mind or morals.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
Summon a single Sapient Angel at your location. They last for two hours or until they are destroyed. They are controlled by the GM but will follow any commands you give. This Artifact may have at most one active at a time.
The Cleric of Mothman shakes the child-sized lantern at their target, tiny multi-colored wisps of light gently floating towards their target.
Exert your Mind (only for extinguishing a fire, no cost for starting one) and spend an Action. Select a target within 300 feet which has both fuel and oxygen available (if you are starting a new fire).
You may start or extinguish a fire as large as a fire in a residential fireplace at your target. Your fires require fuel and oxygen in order to continue burning.
Lighting a target on fire deals 3 Damage each Round on your turn, starting in the Round after the one in which they caught fire. This Damage is reduced by Armor, but the target’s Armor rating will be depleted by any Damage dealt, destroying the Armor once it reaches 0.
You may extinguish flames as a Reaction. This does not extend to explosives.
When you activate this Effect, instead of occurring immediately, you may choose to delay its effects until the target takes a particular Action. For example: "when they fire a gun" or "when they swim in deep water."
Possession of this Artifact causes the following Battle Scar to manifest over the course of a day: The Hunger - Cloth (You eat shit that moths would usually eat like clothes, cotton, etc. and can only regain Mind once per day through eating that). If they lose possession of this Artifact, the Battle Scar heals over the course of the next day.
Anyone who touches this Artifact will notice it warping their mind and may drop it. If they choose to hold or use it, they immediately receive the following Trauma: Like A Moth - You have an inexplicable attraction to light and fire. (Whenever you would come across a standalone light at least the size of a torch, roll Self-Control in order to resist following it, entranced by the pretty light. Fire/light created by this Gift do not trigger this maddening). If they lose possession of this Artifact, the Trauma heals over the course of the next day.
The bandages become alive as new blood is infused with the existing blood within, extending and twisting out into a set of four distinct strands. They operate like tendrils that slither and stretch, and can be used to pull, wrap, and crush things using the user's own strength.
Expend a point of Battery and spend an Action. You must use up a pint of blood in order to activate this Effect.
You gain 4 additional limbs that function as standard human arms and hands. Lasts two hours.
Each additional limb you posses can take one Quick Action per Round without incurring a -2 dice penalty to your main Action. Each additional appendage you have gives you +1 dice to make and resist Grapples (up to a maximum bonus of +4 dice).
Any Battle Scars that affect or remove your additional limb will heal in a single week.
Your extra appendage can stretch to reach an additional 30 feet.
You may dedicate your extra Quick Action to contest any attempt to escape your Grapples. If you do so, you roll your full dice pool to contest and retain your Action to do anything that does not target the subject of your Grapple.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation or for its duration will almost certainly be disturbed to see blood-soaked bandages twisting and slithering like monstrous tendrils.
Your Extra Appendage is incapable of fine object manipulation.
The metal band around his waist vibrates, hums, and seethes. The color begins to drain from it, and move up Carl’s chest, then his arm. As he reaches a hand out to his target, the scarlet color flows from his hand into the object, and infuses it. The affected object turns obviously scarlet in color until the enhancement wears off. The belt loses some of its scarlet coloring (appearing clear and colorless in affected areas) until it regains that Source point.
Carl was taken to a room he no longer remembers, where using some device, personnel he has since forgotten the existence of used a memory extraction device to pull this item from his mind into reality. Though he does not realize it, this strange belt is intrinsically linked to the door he has nightmares of each night.
Expend a point of Battery and spend a minute to activate. Select a non-Alien Device within arm's reach. Cannot be used to improve Armor.
For the next day, your target receives 1 extra dice to all actions taken with its intended use.
....
Spend 1 minute. Select a Device within arm's reach. Can be used on Alien technology. This Effect cannot be used unless only works on vehicles. Roll Intellect + Drive, with the Difficulty set by the GM depending on the security of the system you are hacking. Sapient targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you may issue a single command to the targeted system. This command must have a specific outcome or be a request for specific login credentials. The command you issue must be within the machine's current capabilities. For example, you cannot order a standard security camera to grow legs and walk around.
You may issue a "self-destruct" command that leaves the hacked system's hardware inoperable, even if that machine had no such functionality previously. Only works on Computers.
After successfully using this Effect, you may choose to add the target to your own personal "network." You may use this Effect on any target on your network at any range. You can have up to 3 targets on your network.
When targeting non-computer devices, you may operate switches, buttons, dials, levers, and latches.
Every hack you make leaves behind and apple with a sunrise behind it in the system as a personal "calling card" that informs anyone who uses the system that the hack occurred.
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 1.
A series of neon-green numbers and letters flood rapidly down the lenses of the sunglasses. This jumbled macro-condensed code is then simplified and ‘gameified’ for the user’s ease of access. Upon completion, the Elite Eyewear’s then provides a digital display and interface — allowing for access and manipulation of the hacked device.
Hacking is freaking hard… So why not make it easier? At the end of the day, I’m a gamer — and with this power, even the most complicated system is like putty in my hands… as long as it’s within range, anyways. Sure, it might take a minute but hacking is freaking hard, OK?? Give me a break…
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. Select a Device within 300 feet. Does not work on Alien technology. Roll Intellect + Technology, with the Difficulty set by the GM depending on the security of the system you are hacking.
If your command does not require bypassing the security of the target (for example, typing on a computer that is unlocked), you do not need to Exert your Mind to activate this Effect, and activation only takes a single Action.
When targeting non-computer devices, you may operate switches, buttons, dials, levers, and latches.
The Predatory Raiment has a cloak feature that allows its owner to hide themselves and their equipment with active camouflage. When viewed, they look like a slightly shifted and shimmering version of the surrounding environment.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are not at all wet and you are wearing this Artifact.
You and everything you are carrying is obscured in one of the following manners. You may Spend an Action to change the way in which you're concealed.
While this Effect is active, any Effect that would obscure you or your equipment specifically from other, additional senses fails automatically.
If someone discovers you, this Effect will not help you hide from them for the next minute. This Effect does not end early when you activate an obvious Effect, attack, or receive an Injury.
If the Selkie's seal skin is worn close to the body, any contact with salt water will cause them to transform into a seal. While transformed, they have full access to their normal suite of Powers.
This Effect activates whenever you are submerged in salt water. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Your target should be intuitively based on the triggering event.
You transform into small for two hours or until you choose to end the Effect. See the Extended System text for stats.
While transformed, you cannot use any equipment (including Artifacts and Consumables), and you cannot use your Active, Targeted, or Trap Powers. However, you can use your Passive Powers. Any equipment you are wearing transforms with you.
Injuries and Wound Level are carried over between forms. However, transforming can never kill you; you merely remain Incapacitated until your Injuries are sufficiently healed.
The lightning bracers can be activated to summon a thunderbolt into the wearer's hand. Throwing these thunderbolts makes an incredibly loud boom. Once a thunderbolt is in hand, the wearer can throw as many as they wish. The electricity from these bolts will jump between nearby targets.
This Artifact produces ephemeral projectiles that can be used as a javelin.
Attack by rolling Brawn + Athletics, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +3 Weapon Damage.
You also gain the following effects:
Standard issue in the Future Soldier's home time, the Personal Shield Generator (PSG) projects a protective energy barrier around the body. It absorbs damage far better than traditional armor, but its battery is quickly drained. When depleted, the PSG must spend a few seconds recharging.
When struck, the normally-invisible field of the PSG flashes, revealing a bright yellow honey-comb pattern encasing the body.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact.
You have 6 Armor, which reduces incoming Damage. Armor from multiple sources does not stack.
Your Armor cannot be destroyed, and it always provides a minimum of 2 Armor regardless of any Armor shredding or penetration. It cannot be circumvented with Called Shots. When shredded, it returns to full potency in one hour.
Any time your Armor prevents Damage, your Armor rating is temporarily decreased by 2. Whenever it goes five Rounds without preventing any Damage, it is restored back to its full value.
The spy can do up their passport to take on the appearance of any valid form of identification they may need.
This Artifact can change its appearance. When not transformed, it is roughly the same size as a passport and just as difficult to conceal.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. This Artifact changes its appearance into an Object within the category of forms of identification. This lasts until you decide to end the Effect, which may be done as a Free Action.
The new object's appearance can mimic specific items (such as a particular painting, a certain person’s ID, etc), but must be of a similar size and weight to this Artifact.
The new appearance is illusory; it will hold up to scrutiny, but its composition is not altered and it gains no new functionality. Any attempt to use it for a function which it cannot perform (for instance, making bread look like a knife and then trying to stab someone) will cause the illusion to fail or allow a Perception check to see through the illusion, at the GM's discretion.
