Requires Novice
You possess the ability to rapidly heal yourself.
Used by Halfdan Black, Created by WIZARDBATTLE.
(This Effect has no explicit visibility requirement.)

The dark comforts and consoles. It licks at wounds and stitches them closed. The dark will make you whole. If not for you, who would feed it?

You gain the following benefits at all times.

Any Injury you receive from a source other than water heals quickly, reducing its Severity by one level every 6 hours. Any Injuries you receive while this Effect is active do not deteriorate over time. However, any Battle Scars caused by such an Injury will remain unless it is Properly Stabilized as normal.

You may Exert your Mind and spend an Action to reduce the Severity of one of your Injuries by 2. Does not affect Injuries suffered as an activation cost for Effects.

All Injuries you receive are considered Properly Stabilized. You may also choose to heal any Battle Scar on yourself that may not have been caused by an Injury. Doing so takes one day, and the Battle Scar affects you fully until that time.

Injuries you receive from water are increased in Severity by 1.

  • The increase in Injury Severity stacks with any similar effects, such as the Vulnerable drawback on Inhuman Physiology.

Community Power Gifts

You gain the following benefits as long as engaged in combat with firearms.

+2 dice to all firearms rolls.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Non-Sapient Object within arm's reach no larger than a large luggage bag (75 liters). You must use up A vial of acid in order to activate this Effect. Roll Intellect + Crafts Difficulty 6.

If your Outcome is 4 or higher, the target will be completely destroyed and can no longer function, though it may still be repaired. If your Outcome is less than 4, the target will be partially damaged, and any attempts to use it will suffer a dice penalty equal to your Outcome.

  • The penalty from an object being damaged will stack with itself if a target is hit multiple times, but the object is destroyed when it reaches a total penalty of -4.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action.

You may perceive things through Sight within 75 feet of you with perfect clarity as though there were no walls or obstacles blocking your view. The effect lasts indefinitely but you must maintain Concentration to keep it up.

Melody Waters was a beautiful young woman with brilliant white hair and warm hazel eyes. She was murdered in an alleyway, helpless to so much as scream, and from her death was made Lorelei.

  • A single Injury and any Battle Scars it caused
This Effect cannot be used again on the same target for the next day.

Whenever you transfer an Injury, it's Severity increases by 1. Whenever you transfer Mind damage or Traumas, the recipient takes an additional Mind damage.

  • When narrating disturbing content, be cognizant of your group's tone and accommodating to those who would like to "fast forward" through the description.

This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.

  • Unstabilized wounds do not degenerate during treatment.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.
