Gen-Wyld: Beyond Natural
On March 14, 2018, a little-known company named Gen-Wyld announced FDA approval for a groundbreaking procedure to enhance a patient’s primary and secondary sexual characteristics using gene therapy. The company was an overnight success.
Shortly thereafter, they introduced a suite of gene-altering body modification procedures that allowed patients to make dramatic aesthetic changes to their bodies by gene-splicing “non-human” anatomy. Those daring (and wealthy) enough can now add cuttlefish pigmentation to their skin, sport a pair of fox ears, and even add a functional tail. While rare, these so-called “modders” draw plenty of hate from conservative communities.
Thanks to their revolutionary procedures, Gen-Wyld is now a household name. Norman Carlson, Gen-Wyld’s chief evangelist, recently announced the company is in the trial phase for a groundbreaking treatment for diabetes.
Yet despite their success, a shroud of secrecy surrounds Gen-Wyld. Their no-patent policy obscures the secrets of their procedures from the public eye. Financial experts claim that Gen-Wyld is run less like a traditional business and more like an NGO with some specific, unknown objective.
Some claim that they will not stop until humanity has been reduced to monstrous slaves and that Gen-Wyld’s board of directors will install themselves as inhuman overlords of the new world order.
However, until the true secrets behind Gen-Wyld are discovered, the genetic biotech firm will continue to grow, develop, and progress its grand designs.

A holographic sight is connected to the firearm via picatinny rails once connected from the inside of the sight a storm of sand flow out and begins to compensate for user error by pushing and prodding the firearm in the correct location. when shots are fired out of the gun a smattering of sand is shot out the barrel with the bullet silencing the target of the shot.
You gain the following benefits as long as Requires a firearm with picatinny rails, you are wearing this Artifact, and engaged in combat with firearms.

- Bullet Parry: You may Defend against any attack in range of your attacks. Defending this way still costs a Reaction.

- Silent Killer: If your shot would kill or incapacitate your target, they make no sound, even incidentally, for the next Round.
- Reminder: Bonus Damage stacks with Weapon Damage, but does not stack with any other Bonus Damage. Instead, the highest Bonus Damage is used.
Umbra’s Spite

Ena is confirmed a far better markswoman than Luci is, no question about it, aided by a vast array of knowledge and wisdom within the Well that Luci does not have access to.
So, begrudgingly, when the time comes to get loud, Umbra is almost always the better pick for the job.

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Luci hallucinates the shadows of her regret, shame, and disappointment related to her own actions, Umbra's actions, and those both of them have killed. She will need to roll self control to not wash that from her own hands whenever the opportunity presents itself.

255TE "Lancer" Rife
"Why steal it if you can't use it?""I'll figure it out eventually."
The 255TE "Lancer" Rife fires an extremely deadly spike of plasma at its targets. It comes standard with a volume control, allowing the soldier to mute its normally fearsome lightning crack report for stealth missions. When not in use, it can collapse into a small metal disk that can fit into any utility belt.
This Artifact can be used as a rifle. It is roughly the same size as a rifle but can be collapsed into a metallic disk and concealed. Collapsing or expanding it costs a Quick Action.
Attack by rolling Dexterity + Firearms, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +5 Weapon Damage.
You also gain the following effects:
- Silencer: The report of any shots you fire may be made silent at will.
- If there is not enough free space to expand the object, it cannot be expanded. You cannot expand this Object as an attack.
- Reminder: additional Weapon Damage granted by this Effect does not stack with any other bonus to Weapon Damage. Instead the largest bonus is used.
- Rifles are +1 Difficulty to use in melee range. Sniper Rifles are +3 Difficulty to use without a tripod or in melee range. Setting up a tripod takes an Action.

The Soldier has spent a healthy ten thousand hours training with the weapons of their military. They are deadly when wielding any firearm made in their home country. Drawing their standard issue at the start of a confrontation is pure reflex, and they may plan their shots to deal collateral damage to those behind their target.

+2 dice to all firearms made in your home country rolls.
