A 1 Gift Melee Mastery Power used by Ardis "Longshot" Hemmingway, created by Merfian.

Description

A technique using a loophole within the CrossEye allows it's user to now attack at close range with a blade. However, this technique only works if the eye registers it as an attack from a sniper rifle, so the blade must be integrated with the gun to truly get the benefits.

System

Passive, always in effect. Attacks with Bladed Weapons will do +2 more damage. The target's Armor is Fully Effective.

Enhancements

  • Bullet Parry (You may use a Reaction to Defend against any Melee, thrown, or projectile Attack in range of your Attacks.)
  • Shredder (If you successfully hit your target, the value of any Armor they are wearing is reduced by 2. For material armor, this penalty lasts until it is repaired. For intrinsic armor, it lasts until the end of Combat and any relevant wound is healed.)

Drawbacks

  • Conditional (This Effect is only available when a certain condition is met. This condition must be severe enough that this Gift is unusable the majority of the time.)
    • Condition - Spliced with Sniper Rifle
