Well, after that crazy ride with nightmarishly weird associates I decided that life is changing. So much so that I decided to buy a lottery ticket. I felt the universe calling me almost. I don't know really, but ever since I took that job it's been like I can feel the beating heart below everything else. It's like a comfortable blanket wrapping you up with its rhythmic thumping in the distant background. I'm trying to pay attention to it and I swear it wanted me to buy a ticket. I just felt like it was time. Lo and behold! I won! Not just a couple thousand either. I won big.
I had my friend Hal set me up with a financial guy (though I never told Hal why), and so I got a cool 35k to spend up front and the rest of it is all invested making boatloads of money for me now. I will say though, having money just doesn't entice the way I thought it would. Ever since I got that, what did they call it,....Imbuement, all I can think about is the next contract and the TRUE power that it offers.
For the first time in my life I can truly see myself reaching my goals. I've noticed that I feel clearer and have a level of focus I've never had before. Like pain and distractions don't stress me out like they used to. I am starting to think this road I'm going down will take me to the highest mountains and beyond. I don't know why I was picked but I know that this is the way to everything I ever wanted. Now if only they could do something about these damn nightmares! Oh well, one step at a time.
I spent most of this month chilling and getting ready for when they need me next. I picked up some extra gear as I can never know where or when they will send me. Ihope this time I will get someplace exotic. I am learning that the biggest danger on these jobs is the other contractors.
You can’t trust anyone. Just like the rest of life.
I have made sure to get my finances straight, got my investments working for me now so that my lottery money won’t run out on me.
I have been practicing for my next contract with my gifts as I want to get super ready for whatever comes my way. I found I have developed a danger sense that keeps me safe when I am in trouble. Even if I don’t know about the danger.
I’m excited to see where this all goes in the next few months.
So taking advantage of this amazing new gift, I have decided to do some traveling to test it out. I headed to Europe for a couple of weeks to take in the sights and put myself to learning several languages.
Especially after that last job I’ve decided to make sure I spend some downtime as these jobs are going to be cropping up on the regular.
Visiting Europe has been a great experience. I went through France and got to see several things like the Eiffel tower. It was alright. It was amazing learning the language. I had to work at it a bit but then it just came to me. And the best part is the retention. It’s amazing. From there I decided I had to hit up Germany and see the “Engine of the European Union”. It was really clean and people were actually friendly, well to some degree. For germans I guess.
Next on the list was Italy which was great. I loved the food for sure. Plus seeing all the old style architecture was kinda cool. It makes you think about what you’re trying to protect, in the long run.
Spain came last and was one of the easiest languages to learn since I had the foundation of the others prior. Plus, Spanish girls are hot and I had a great time just relaxing at the clubs.
I think I’ll keep doing this on a regular basis. I need the vacations and I love learning the languages.
Getting back I hit my training a lot harder. Gotta keep my form in tip top shape for these contracts. Plus I'm now hitting the books more to get a grip on all the theory that I'll need.
So while I loved my vacationing last month, it wasn’t very fruitful with the languages. They’re actually harder to learn that you think. This time I booked flights to Russia and the Middle East and also down to Colombia to see the coast. I figured I can start learning the regions of the world as well as get some good R&R. They say the girls in Colombia are so fine. Well, it turns out they are. Very.
I also found out that the middle east is really messed up. There’s so many factions over there that it would take years to sort out who’s with who and why they’re fightin’ with each other. The languages are cool though. I think I’ll keep up my travels for the next few months, getting down the cultures and languages of as many places as I can. I want to be ready for when we get contracts to head to these places.
