Real name Sammich Topping but occasionally pretends to be their identical twin, Tescoh Topping. Growing up with undiagnosed ADHD and a prodigious high-achieving lookalike has made their self-esteem nonexistent, though with the volatile combination of being a compulsive liar they mask most of their real feelings or opinions through a facade. If they're not gonna be good at something first try, why bother? Seen as a slacker by everyone else and then molding their own self-perception to their low expectations, they succumbed to a disappointing and self-destructive life of stupor, never attempting to do anything meaningful and never finding any hobbies. However they fell headfirst into alcoholism, using drinking and partying hard as a coping mechanism. Their family, although well-meaning, enabled and neglected them, misunderstanding their rebelliousness for a need for personal space instead of more attention. Only their twin brother stayed truly close with them despite everything and could see through the mask.
Until he had to leave for university. Meanwhile Sammich was still wasting away living with their parents. They rarely talked after that, if ever. This was the lowest point of her life as she fell deeper into drinking and self-loathing that she couldn't handle. Eventually, Sammich got out of the slump, but decided that he had to get the fuck out of his family's life so that he would stop being a burden. He used the college fund that his parents were saving for him to buy a used car and leave his hometown, ending up in Seattle. All this without them knowing beforehand and without leaving any note to where they had went.
Without an actual job, they relied on their charm and wits to mooch off random people, pretending they were of a higher social class to get invited to events and then steal from them. If there was one thing they were good at it was keeping a story together. Cruising through life living in their car or hotels or temporarily rooming with others, they continued getting the bare minimum to live and feeling secretly horrible about everything. One random day, they became a Contractor and succeeded in their first Contract. He started introducing himself as Tescoh, not wanting to give out his real name to a group of strangers. His first meeting with a Harbinger was... rushed and unexplained, to say the least. Afterwards Harbingers referred to him as that too, and he kept the lie going for as long as he could. He has his suspicions that the Harbingers genuinely chose the wrong twin.
Unfortunately, his luck ran out and from a stupid decision of trusting the wrong person, he died. With how it all went down, it's safe to say his death would be a mystery, if it ever even got discovered outside of those who were there during that fateful Contract.
Currently, their soul resides in Maikendo, where they have been transformed into a Kitsunemimi. They are very happy there, but mourns not being able to see his twin again. At least he got what he 'wanted', to disappear from the face of the Earth so that he wouldn't bother the ones he cared about again. Having said that, their death has not broken them out of compulsive lying, and upon finding a way to contact people from the outside world he is trying to convince his brother that he faked his death, lying through their teeth about their current circumstances. Oops.
