Movement

- Dashing penalizes your Action -1 die per 5 feet.
All-out Sprint: instead of using free Movement or Dash, you may spend your Action and roll Brawn + Athletics ( dice) Difficulty 6. You move (0 + (Outcome x 5) Feet).

Actions

Attack with your weapon or hands.
Evade by rolling to Defend or Dodge. Your Outcome is "spent" to reduce the Outcome of any incoming attacks until your next Action.
Activate a Power or use an Ability as normal.
Hold your Action by declaring an Action and a triggering event. If the event occurs before your turn on the next Round, you perform the Action.

If you have not yet spent your Action this Round, you may use it as a Reaction.

Reactions

Dodge by rolling Dexterity + Athletics ( dice) Difficulty 6. Your Outcome is subtracted from the attacker's.
Defend with your weapon by rolling its attack roll. Your Outcome is subtracted from the attacker's. Availability depends on weapon match-up (tap/hover).
Clash with the attacker using the same roll you would use to Defend. The higher Outcome (not contested) is treated as the result of a successful, undefended attack roll against the loser.

Desperate Defense

If you have already used your Action, you may Exert your Mind to perform a Reaction. Your next Round's Action receives a -2 dice penalty. You cannot Clash as a Desperate Defense or React more than once to a given Action.

Will to Survive

Once per Contract, you may reduce the severity of an incoming Injury up to 5 Severity levels (to a minimum of Severity 5). You also take a point of Mind Damage and suffer a Battle Scar as normal.

If an attack's Outcome is positive after defense, it results in a new Injury with Severity = Outcome + Weapon damage - Armor

Stabilization is the Injury's main treatment, and each Injury can only be successfully Stabilized once

Proper Stabilization

Requires an advanced first aid kit for Severity 4 Injuries, a surgery setup for Severity 5 Injuries, and a surgery theater for Severity 6+ Injuries.

Roll Intellect + Medicine, Difficulty equal to Severity

An Outcome of 1 or greater will Stabilize the Injury and stop its degradation.
Outcome 4+ puts the Injury on track to heal clean: its Battle Scar heals with it.
On a Botch, the Injury's Severity increases by 1.
Failed or Botched attempts may be re-attempted at +1 Difficulty per failure.

Makeshift Stabilization

Attempt a major treatment using insufficient or improvised medical equipment.

Roll Intellect + Medicine, Difficulty > Severity

Outcome 1+ will Stabilize the Injury and stop its degradation.
However, any Outcome less than 4 increases the Injury’s Severity by 1. Botches also worsen its Battle Scar if it caused one.
Regardless of Outcome, any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will persist after it is fully healed.
Failed or Botched attempts may be retried at +1 Difficulty per failure.

Self-stabilization attempts are rolled at +1 Difficulty.

Losing Identity (Pal's nails and eyes become moonstone. Across his body is patches of skin the look odd. Where he is injured, the wounded skin comes back looking more like moonstone (reflective properties of moonstone). All social rolls are made at +1 Difficulty. The Beautiful Asset is suppressed as long as you have this Battle Scar.)

Lost taste and Smell (Can’t smell or taste and automatically fail checks based on smell or taste. -2d when smell or taste would help with the check.)

Adopted Taotao the voodoo Dog. You have saved Taotao and adopted her, you made her a part of your family. Gladys is a Fila Brasileiro ( Brazilian Mastiff ) which is covered in voodoo sigils. Gladys Taotao is a battle dog which will listen to the commands of their master in the same way a command animal would work. Normal medium size animal stats apply and she attacks with 4 dice + 2 damage. Taotao has 2 armor.

Biography

Pal is a volunteer firefighter with a big trust fund, who suffers nightmares about the end of the world. He wants to protect it.

He also can become a magical girl sometimes.

Moonstone is strong, tough, and full of magic. She is determined to save the world from the things which threaten it.

One of these days, they'll acknowledge that they are one person and figure out what that means for their gender. But not yet! Give them time.
