Serq began manifesting telekinetic abilities in their early teenage years, and very quickly learned to hide them from everybody in their life. As they experimented with their powers in their free time, they quickly learned that while their abilities possessed immense agility, they weren't particularly strong. This led to them trying to anonymously post online asking about other people with similar abilities to receive mentorship. When messaged by someone claiming to be able to do what they wanted, they decided to perform a test on the stranger - sending a video of them using strings and trickery and claiming it was psychic abilities. When they were fooled, they took it a step further, researching Charlatans and how their more complex tricks worked - cold-reading, conditioning, and more. They established themselves as an internet personality with their natural charisma, and quickly began flying all over the western world as a revolving member of political entourages, becoming a minor player in their own right. With a few excessive donations from some far-too-gullible political elites, they were set up for life. They were, inevitably, exposed for their false abilities - for everything except telekinesis, the one thing they found prudent not to claim to have. However, donating most of their ill-gotten gains to philanthropy caused them to get away mostly scot-free, as it would look very poorly on those they had taken from - though they openly established themself as an anti-wealth personality.
