More a large spike with a rounded handguard and a comfortable handle than a knife. 10 inches long in total with 6 inches of a glistening blue steel ready to ruin your day. When it extends, looks more like a lance than anything else... What is this thing?

Henry taps a small control over his right collarbone twice, and his suit suddenly fades into a shimmer. After a moment, the shimmer spreads to his hands and face, leaving only a barely perceptible haze where the man once stood. After a moment further, this haze fades away entirely, leaving nothing.
"Field repairs are difficult work, especially with the primitive tools of this accursed world. The patches on the holomatrix are exceedingly sensitive - I'll have to be gentle with it, especially when it's enabled. If it gets disrupted it'll need to recalibrate again, which takes over a stellar rotation. Even now it's not calibrating right - I can still see it when it's active, especially when moving. But it'll have to do for now."
Update - Fixed the holomatrix. It's properly stable, now.

The prosthetic arm's main body. Hundreds of fibrous machines with varying degrees of complexity make up a perfect physical replica of Felix Law's missing bones. Depending on the nature of its actions, the core vents bursts of steam, fires yellow sparks or vibrates like a motor.
Near-futuristic mechanical bonds link the shoulder to the body, while the bicep houses a series of motors that govern the movements of the forearm. Coolant is vented at the wrist in short bursts of steam, and the digits flex noiselessly, controlled by a second series of motors in the knuckles.
In addition to fully replicating the functions of a normal arm, a ring of dynamic pins in the wrist can launch the (detachable) hand at a moment's notice, and recoil the connecting cables just as quickly. Furthermore, each digit on the hand is equipped with a set of silver electrodes that can administer a powerful electric shock when triggered.
The outer casing of wood is fully pressure-treated and finished with fire-retardant wax for an extra degree of protection.

The user runs the watch over their tongue, allowing for the a link to be created between the user and the call. A spectral mouth appears where the user bites down in the shape of a creature hailing from the crocodylidae family.

The "Reaper" Assault Helmet is the signature piece of the Future Soldier's arsenal. It has a sleek, design and is made of a mysterious matte-metallic alloy. The wearer's face is exposed normally, but when a battle begins, a blue holographic visor flickers to life in front of the eyes. This HUD contains information about the soldier's ammunition and shield status, but more significantly can detect enemy combatants. Anyone nearby who is holding a weapon is painted with a red dot that follows them in real time. This allows the Future Soldier to fire at painted targets in the dark, detect ambushes lurking around corners, and grants an overall tactical advantage.
This Effect activates whenever combat begins. It does not require an Action or Exertion.
You automatically detect all people wielding weapons within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

The level of detail and completeness of the alteration depends on your Outcome. If you fail, the target realizes that you are attempting to alter their memories.
The period is chosen either by time (i.e. “last Friday night”) or by reference to a specific event (i.e. “when the murder occurred”).
