Jeremy Soap blows into a bubble wand, infusing the bubbles with his will. This causes the imbued bubble to launch at high speeds towards a target and slam into it, similar to a cannonball.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a target within 300 feet. You must actively and obviously use Bubble Wand to activate this Effect. Roll Charisma + Influence Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.
If the contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much damage plus 3. Armor is fully effective against this damage.
Laz fires a small nanite projectile from his wrist at the target, staring intently at the target as they begin to grow drowsy. While he continues to hold his hand toward them almost as if he's turning them off by sheer will. The target will feel a jolt as his skin makes contact, and a spreading feeling of warmth and relaxation, until they suddenly realize their joints and muscles no longer respond.
This projectile delivers several dozen individual nanites which immediately begin releasing microdoses of sedatives as they head to the nearest nerve cluster. Once they achieve nervous system access, they use electrical impulses to arrest the target's muscular control, leaving them unable to do much besides breathe and blink for as long as Laz maintains mental control. Once released, they deactivate and are ultimately flushed from the body by the kidneys.
Spend an Action. Select a Living target within 30 feet. Roll Dexterity + Medicine at Difficulty 6. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, your target becomes drowsy for the next 30 seconds, during which time they suffer an additional -2 dice Penalty to all Actions. At the end of their drowsiness, they fall into a state of sleep paralysis as long as you maintain Concentration. During this time, they remain fully conscious and aware of their surroundings but are incapable of taking any actions.
Sleeping targets will not prematurely wake up on their own, but may still be woken up by sudden loud noises, being jarred or splashed with water, taking Damage, or similar rousing events. They will also awaken before dying of hunger, thirst, or suffocation. Drowsy targets always fall asleep, regardless of what happens while they are drowsy.
When activating this Effect you may attempt a knockout. If you do and your Contested Outcome exceeds 4, the target falls asleep immediately. Otherwise, they suffer the drowsy penalty for 2 Rounds.
When an affected target wakes up, they remain drowsy for the next minute, and suffer a -3 dice penalty. If an affected target successfully resists being put to sleep, they will still become drowsy for the next minute, and will suffer the same penalty.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
Your eyes narrow, and you hear blood rushing in your ears. Bile and excitement rise up in your chest as you desperately plead with the most high power, to just this once... Destroy everything and everyone and leave no traces.
The targeted area begins to buzz with static - and if you were there - you could swear you could hear a pleading hymn through the interference.
It explodes. It burns. It is gone.
Dare any of you, having a matter against his neighbor, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Location no further than 40 feet from you and in your line of sight. Make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect. The area within 25 feet of the chosen Location immediately and obviously becomes imminently dangerous. Roll Charisma + Occult at Difficulty 6. Targets inside the radius may attempt an appropriate Reaction at GM’s discretion. Finding a physical barrier to use as cover will cut total Damage taken in half (applies after Reaction roll but before Armor).
If the Outcome is positive, your blast hits everything within 25 feet of the chosen Location with Damage equal to your Outcome + 4. Armor is fully effective against this damage.
Any flammable Objects within the radius during the blast will catch fire, and any being who takes at least 4 Damage will catch fire. Starting the Round after they caught fire, flaming targets take 2 Damage per Round until the fire is extinguished.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: You feel hypnotized by fire and destruction. You must roll self control to come back to yourself.
It would be rather conceited and grandiose of Luci to label herself as a Master of Shadows, but this evolution in her connection to the Well makes it a close call.
Just like the conspiracy theorists say, the shadows can indeed talk. In fact, they can have quite a lot to say about those that like to hide within them. Luci would know- she's seen them both in and out of The Well. Whether they're all that happy about it is one of many philosophical questions, but the fact of the matter is that they do indeed talk.
Such beings only require a bit of nudging and a sip of her Source in order to spill what they know and act as beacons for Luci. Not only do they point her in the proper direction, but they will also aware her as to what her targets are hiding from or disguising themselves for.
And even without any direct calls to action, Luci's intuition awares her of any restless or uneasy shadows that might have information about nearby scoundrels for her.
The shadows that exist outside of the Well are either only personified by Luci herself or a product of her power. When a shadow points her in a direction, it manifests more as a feeling than an actual shadow getting up pointing in any particular directing.
Think of it more like Luci projecting herself into the surrounding darkness- a process that while not riskless, is certainly fruitful.
Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Luci mutters for the shadows to show their hand as she pours her Varnish at her feet. You must use up 6 units of Varnish in order to activate this Effect. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means.
You automatically detect all hidden beings (i.e. actively in hiding or actively conealing their presence) and disguised beings (i.e. actively wearing/using a disguise/facade) within 1 mile of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.
If no hidden beings (i.e. actively in hiding or actively conealing their presence) or disguised beings (i.e. actively wearing/using a disguise/facade) targets are within 1 mile of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.
Any hidden beings (i.e. actively in hiding or actively conealing their presence) and disguised beings (i.e. actively wearing/using a disguise/facade) detected while this Effect is active are “marked”. You will continue to detect them until the Effect ends, no matter how far away they move. You will also continue to detect them after the Effect ends, so long as they remain within 1 mile of you.
You learn basic information about why each detected being is being detected. For example, if you detect Criminals, you may learn how many crimes they have committed and what type.
You receive a detailed silhouette of their body and clothes for each being you detect.
Eden has somewhat small dragon wings protruding from their back.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
As long as you are conscious, you are immune to falling Damage. Additionally, you may glide as you fall, traveling 35 feet horizontally for every 10 feet you fall. While gliding, you fall at a minimum speed of 10 feet per Round.
You are subject to the following effects while gliding:
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Vertigo.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Eden belives that that they are a dragon.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your Stress from Injuries and Mind Damage is reduced to 0.
Stress from Injuries acts as a dice bonus instead of penalty.
If you die, you may continue to act as though you were not dead for 3 Rounds.
Any dice penalty from Exposure or being stunned, diseased, sleepy, dizzy, sick, distracted, or similar is reduced to zero. Does not affect penalties from Effects you activated.
The detective can flash their badge and bark out orders to a person or a crowd, and the target will have trouble ignoring their command.
Exert your Mind and spend at least one Action. All Sapient targets within 20 feet of you are affected. You must actively and obviously use a police badge to activate this Effect. Your target cannot be engaged in Combat. Communicate a command to your targets. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. Any affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.
If the contested Outcome is positive, your targets will be compelled to follow your command to the letter-- but not necessarily the spirit-- of the command until they have completed it or for your Outcome in minutes. You cannot issue another suggestion to the target until 10 minutes after they have completed the first command or 10 minutes after a failure.
The target is unaware that they are under supernatural influence and feel they are acting of their own free will. If you fail, they realize that you were attempting to influence them supernaturally with your command.
Your command can be an order to take an immediate Action. You cannot order a target to "do nothing," and they are free to take other Actions as they fulfill your request. Your command cannot be obviously self-destructive. Commands may force a target to violate one of their Limits, and they will need to make a Trauma roll once the suggestion wears off.
Through years of practice, the mobster is able to shatter someone's kneecap without much effort.
Spend an Action. Select a Living target within arm's reach. You must actively and obviously use a melee weapon to activate this Effect. Roll Brawn + Melee at Difficulty 6. The target may roll Body, -2 dice at Difficulty 7, as a Free Action to resist.
If you succeed, the target receives a new Battle Scar of your choosing, limited by the contested Outcome:
All alterations you make must damage the target's knees.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Location within 50 feet. You must be in an area abundant with man-made structures and materials.
Select one of the following alterations to create out of standard building materials originating at the target:
The alteration begins to form when you activate this Effect and finishes forming on your initiative in the next Round. Until it finishes forming, it is not guaranteed to function.
This alteration lasts one minute but may be prematurely destroyed or altered. Your alterations may be broken through with appropriate tools. Anyone attempting to break through must roll Brawn + a relevant Ability. A cumulative Outcome of 6 across all attempts breaks a hole large enough to move through. See the extended system text for GM guidance on various tools.
The psychic can glean various important details about a person simply by engaging in a short conversation with them.
Spend one minute. Select a Sapient target within 20 feet. You must actively converse with the individual in question for one minute in order to gather any information. At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Influence at Difficulty 6.

The quality and specificity of information gained depends on your Outcome.
Any information you gather is spoken aloud in conversation and made publicly available.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
