“Elemental” Expertise David takes out a book of Blavatsky’s teachings as well as some other occult research, and chants around a seemingly normal metal band bracelet. When he finishes, the plain metal band now has a small human outline shaped hole in it.
When the made by the above ritual is used, the band briefly flashes a translucent outline of its wielder’s body at peak condition (this is their “elemental”, the shell or outline of their soul), and the wielder is able to focus as if they themselves were at peak condition.
The band captures a person’s elemental, the shell of a person’s soul that is left behind in its movement, according to some of the occultist Helena Blavatsky’s teachings. By briefly redisplaying this shell over the user’s form, the user can synchronize their body with their soul at a healthier time.

OWL - The Occult Wildlife Landing
The Occult Wildlife Landing (OWL) is a nonprofit organization that advocates for the rights of supernatural creatures to live a life unmolested by humanity’s relentless spread and greed.
While OWL has become the de-facto head of the conservationist movement in the United States, many claim it’s not as innocent as it appears. A number of small, seemingly-disconnected terrorist cells wear the OWL insignia with pride. These groups– which tend to contain a disproportionate number of supernatural creatures and beings– commit high-profile acts of public violence with the intent of furthering OWL’s core objectives. In the past, they’ve blown up oil pipelines, stopped development projects, and even infected congregations of people with mutagenic viruses.
OWL denies any involvement with these so-called “OWL-inspired terrorist organizations” (or OITOs for short). However, many people conflate the two and consider OWL itself to be a terrorist organization.
One thing is for certain: when OWL sends a blast to its followers urging protest, they’re taken seriously.

If you are Stunned, asleep, drugged, or otherwise made unconscious for any reason other than being Incapacitated, you may Exert your Mind to wake up. Any penalty which was caused by this condition is removed.
Anyone who touches this Artifact will notice it warping their mind and may drop it. If they choose to hold or use it, they immediately receive the following Trauma: Phobia of Ghouls: When you encounter the subject of your phobia, you must roll Self-Control to avoid entering a fight-or-flight response. If you fail, you may Exert your Mind to face your fear.. If they lose possession of this Artifact, the Trauma heals over the course of the next day.
Hardboiled

Film noir as a genre relies on grittiness, a hardboiled attitude and a willingness to overcome whatever adversity you're faced with. In response to a few failings from it's host, Frank's "benefactor" has begun to eat away at his mind, lessening the weight of various physical/mental burdens upon him.

Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend an Action to activate. You must use up Acupuncture Needles in order to activate this Effect.
Your Body Penalty is reduced to 0. Lasts for one hour. Does not reduce Mind Penalty.
You may move at your normal speed and still maintain Concentration.
