A metal whale pendant the size of a lighter on the surfer necklace. When flying around, the necklace glows and several tiny remora pendants appear on it.
Joe effortlessly detaches the whale pendant and chucks is up into the air. Somehow it continues soaring upwards at an increasing speed, easily out of view. A minute or two later, a massive semi-ridged airship appears above--a living blue whale with metallic skin that floats as easily in the sky as the ocean.
Up to 14 adult passengers (or the equivalent in weight) can safely ride within Koholā's mouth and peer out through a semi-transparent baleen. Despite the exterior, the interior is an odd-shaped spacious room complete with seating that can be converted into small beds, a kitchenette, and a restroom.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action or Reaction. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. Roll Intellect + Culture at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you create a Barrier extending out 15 feet from yourself, which absorbs 2 times the next Outcome + 4 Damage. Only applies to attacks which originated outside the 15 foot radius, and protects anyone who is within that radius. You may choose to create a bubble barrier. If you do, no physical objects or entities can pass into your bubble until the barrier is broken, but you and the barrier cannot move. Half any Damage absorbed by the barrier is reflected back to the attacker. They may attempt to Dodge or Defend using a Desperate Defense, and their Armor applies in full. The Damage reduction from the barrier is applied before Armor. This Artifact may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
You must maintain Concentration while using this Effect. The barrier will fall if you are interrupted, or if it absorbs the full amount of Damage. When a barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds.
Whenever the book is actively used, the ritual glyphs carved in Blanche's arm will open and weep. Blood will pool down their arms and coat their hands, seeping into the pages and bindings. When the transfer is complete, the pages are clean, and the scars will close once again.
Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend an Action. Select two Sapient targets within arm's reach. If a target does not consent to the transfer, you must roll Body at Difficulty 6 to use the effect on them. They can resist by rolling either Body or Mind at Difficulty 6, depending on what you are attempting to transfer to them.
You may choose one each of as many things as you like from the following to transfer between your two targets:
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see a cable of blood connecting the two targets as searing pain is siphoned from one to the other.
The Skeleton Key slips easily into any keyhole and turns without a fuss.
Spend an Action.
You may lock, unlock, and/or open any number of doors, locks, or locked targets within arm's reach of you. Cannot be used on Alien technology.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. This Artifact changes its appearance into an Object within the category of forms of identification. This lasts until you decide to end the Effect, which may be done as a Free Action.
The new object's appearance can mimic specific items (such as a particular painting, a certain person’s ID, etc), but must be of a similar size and weight to this Artifact.
The new appearance is illusory; it will hold up to scrutiny, but its composition is not altered and it gains no new functionality. Any attempt to use it for a function which it cannot perform (for instance, making bread look like a knife and then trying to stab someone) will cause the illusion to fail or allow a Perception check to see through the illusion, at the GM's discretion.
