Issac is sometimes able to perceive undead beings such as ghosts and spirits, when doing, so he covers his eyes with his hands, and faint glowing eyes manifest on the back of his hands as he whispers to himself.

An inexperienced Isaac performed a ritual early into his study, one of his firsts. It involved rubbing the ashes from cremated human eyeballs on his own, where he got these he would rather discuss after a few cold ones.

You automatically detect all undead beings within 50 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. You must actively and obviously use Hat to activate this Effect.

You automatically detect all Supernatural being within 50 feet of you for the next minute. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby and their direction, and you have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected beings. This information is accurate enough to use for aiming at them, at +1 Difficulty.

Even while this Effect is not active, if any Supernatural being come within 50 feet of you, you may roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 7 to detect them.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action.

You automatically detect all humans within 50 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

Exert your Mind and spend at least two Actions performing the following ritual: A prayer to Thalassa the Goddess of Wind to activate. You must use up Sand in order to activate this Effect. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.

You automatically detect all Beings imbued with divine power and Beings in dire need of help within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby and their direction, but you are not aware of their exact locations.

Even while this Effect is not active, if any Beings imbued with divine power or Beings in dire need of help come within 300 feet of you, you may roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 7 to detect them.

Even if there are no Beings imbued with divine power or Beings in dire need of help within 300 feet of you, you become aware of the direction the closest one is in, as well as a rough sense of its distance from you.

The girlsโ€™ power continues to grow with their search for the mess they made from Pandoraโ€™s Box. Theyโ€™ve already gotten ahold of the feeling to emulate when they know theyโ€™re headed towards a spirit of interest; theyโ€™ll be able to conjure up that feeling again from now on.

Even if there are no Spirits within 300 feet of you, you become aware of the direction the closest one is in, as well as a rough sense of its distance from you.

Any Spirits detected while the effect is active are โ€œmarkedโ€. You will continue to detect them until the effect ends, no matter how far away they move. You will also continue to detect them after the effect ends, so long as they remain within 300 feet of you.

  • Any targets that are marked satisfy the line of sight requirement for targeted Effects.

The shadows that exist outside of the Well are either only personified by Luci herself or a product of her power. When a shadow points her in a direction, it manifests more as a feeling than an actual shadow getting up pointing in any particular directing.

Think of it more like Luci projecting herself into the surrounding darkness- a process that while not riskless, is certainly fruitful.

Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Luci mutters for the shadows to show their hand as she pours her Varnish at her feet. You must use up 6 units of Varnish in order to activate this Effect. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means.

You automatically detect all hidden beings (i.e. actively in hiding or actively conealing their presence) and disguised beings (i.e. actively wearing/using a disguise/facade) within 1 mile of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

If no hidden beings (i.e. actively in hiding or actively conealing their presence) or disguised beings (i.e. actively wearing/using a disguise/facade) targets are within 1 mile of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.

Any hidden beings (i.e. actively in hiding or actively conealing their presence) and disguised beings (i.e. actively wearing/using a disguise/facade) detected while this Effect is active are โ€œmarkedโ€. You will continue to detect them until the Effect ends, no matter how far away they move. You will also continue to detect them after the Effect ends, so long as they remain within 1 mile of you.

You learn basic information about why each detected being is being detected. For example, if you detect Criminals, you may learn how many crimes they have committed and what type.

You receive a detailed silhouette of their body and clothes for each being you detect.

Stock Detect Beings Gifts

This Effect activates whenever combat begins. It does not require an Action or Exertion.

You automatically detect all people wielding weapons within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

  • When triggered, the Effect activation resolves immediately after the triggering Action. It is not Reaction speed.
