"The Beast" goes Beast Mode on his enemy
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within 45 feet. Roll Brawn + Brawl Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 4. Armor is fully effective against this Damage.
If a Living target would suffer an Injury Severity 5 or greater from this Effect, they die.
If the Contested Outcome of your activation roll is 4 or higher, the activation cost of this Effect is refunded.
If the target takes damage from this Effect, they will receive at least a Minor Battle Scar regardless of the Severity of their Injury. The specifics of the scar are up to GM's discretion.
Cassie's phobia of touch combined with his magical condition allows her to force others away.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action or Reaction. Roll Dexterity + Athletics at Difficulty 6. Any Animate targets may resist by rolling Body at Difficulty 7.
Create a repulsion field which extends out 45 feet from you in every direction, and lasts for the next minute. Any Animate targets within the field that failed to resist cannot move any closer towards you. If they were within 45 feet from you when you activated the effect, they are immediately pushed back to the edge of the repulsion field.
You must maintain Concentration during this Effect.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see the barrier extends outwards, and it causes excruciating pain to those pushed away by puppeteering their flesh.
Amaranth's existence is now so thoroughly displaced through time that he can walk into it. Checking possible alternate time lines for information as he navigates through the hundred timelines near him searching for the one that contains a close enough analogue to himself but nearer to the event he wishes to view. At which point he can see through the senses of his alternate self. Yet, doing so takes an immense amount of time, literally, and though it only appears to take a moment to an outside observer Amaranth comes back each time from hours of actual trekking.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 500 feet At the end of your investigation, roll Brawn + Survival at Difficulty 6.
You learn the following information about the area:
After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.
The targets body morphs to reflect the new augmentations before snapping back into how they looked before
Utilizing the mutable properties of quantum energy you can shape matter and give it new properties, this is a form of that application.
Exert your Mind and spend an hour to activate. Select a Living target within arm's reach. You cannot target yourself. The target can easily Resist.
You may add one augmentation to your target. Each augmentation counts as a Battle Scar and can have exactly one of the following Effects:
The augmentations you provide are not outwardly visible nor obvious.
You may only use this Effect once per day.
David walks between the tombstones, and as he does, the air gets darker, heavier. He walks in a realm of sand and bone as the sights of the modern world fade away, only graves and the souls of the dead wandering the sands. Following a voice only he can hear (‘find me’), David seeks out one particular tomb among the sprawling sands. When he finds it, he enters inside, and depending on how the voice he can hear reacts, appears either above or below the tomb, either unharmed or buried alive.
To outside observers, this effect appears as a sand crusted bony limb reaching out of the grave or tomb to pull David within it in a whirling rush of sand. At the other targeted grave (or other targeted point if not using Spirit Paths), if all goes well, Vance appears rising from the grave, covered in a light dusting of sand and bone dust.
As David walks a Realm of the Dead, their voices cry out to him. “Find us.” “Find us.” “Gorgonsire, find us”. On the whisper of the wind he can almost hear a Medusa’s dying words, locked in time and sand and wreathed in bone as its head topples from its shoulders.
“Find me”
And yet for now, the echoed voice goes unanswered.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. Select a Location within your line of sight. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you Buried Alive under chosen travel spot or Grave/Tomb.
You are transported directly to the chosen Location. Anyone who is touching you as you Travel will be brought along with you. You must wait an hour before activating this effect again.
If you traverse any Grave/Tomb for one minute, you may activate this Effect and travel to the edge of any other Grave/Tomb that you’re aware of, regardless of range.
As Bill starts to treat the issue, he proceeds to tie off the blood flow of the associated body part, unless it's the head. He proceeds to rub dirt or whatever natural ground is around them, to cover the area. As time passes by, it starts to regrow and reform the damages to normal again, glowing a dark green, similar to swamp water.
Exert your Mind and spend an hour. Select a Living or Animate target within arm's reach. You must use up mud/dirt in order to activate this Effect. Select a Battle Scar on your target to treat.
The treated Battle Scar heals as you finish activating this Effect.
The time-twister presses a button on one of their wristwatches, and, in a flash of orange light, disappears. They have skipped 12 seconds forward in time. To them, the travel is instantaneous, but everyone else must wait until they reappear.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use a clock or watch to activate this Effect.
You phase out of reality for 4 Rounds. During this time, you cannot perceive or affect the outside world or take any Actions. You cannot move. Nothing can interact with you in any way.
When you phase out, you may bring up to 1 additional target in arm's reach with you.
No terrestrial animal dares defy the will of the beastmaster. The beastmaster exerts their dominance over an animal by locking eyes and giving a primal cry. The creature immediately becomes docile and eager to please.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Creature within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is a terrestrial animal.
For the next day, you may issue specific commands to your target which they will be compelled to follow.
Your commands can be complex and multi-layered, though they must still be specific. You cannot make them obviously endanger themselves or violate their instinct for self-preservation. The effects of the command will fade after a day has passed.
Sapient targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
The Witch gazes at a calm and trusting animal and blinks, revealing eyes that have changed to match the creature's. Her body goes limp and collapses, and the witch proceeds to walk away, now temporarily borrowing the animal's body.
A borrowing Witch is a visitor in the animal's mind and cannot overstay her welcome or force the animal into danger.
Spend an Action or Reaction. Select a Creature target within 20 feet. The target may Resist.
You possess your target and have control over their actions for the next hour. Your original body will be left behind, unconscious, in its same location. You may perceive through your original body's senses, at a -2 penalty to all Actions while doing so. If your original body is touched, you get a Perception check to notice. You may spend an Action to end the possession early.
Stats: Any Actions you take will use the possessed creature’s Brawn, Dexterity, and Perception, but use your own Charisma, Intellect, and Abilities.
Gifts: You do not have access to any Gifts while you are possessing your target.
Death: If the host suffers an Injury, or is destroyed or incapacitated, you are evicted back into your own body. If the possession ends and your original body was killed or destroyed, you will die.
Eviction: You cannot force your host to take Actions which would violate their instinct for self-preservation (which includes engaging in Combat for any purpose other than self-defense or natural hunting); any attempt to do so will sever the connection and send you back into your own body. If you are forced out of the target's body prematurely, you must make a Trauma roll.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
The creature's claws rip through the poor, defenseless doctor's coat, opening deep gashes in their gut. It bares its fangs to lunge for the killing blow, but the doctor looks up at the attacker. Their eyes filed not with utter terror at their imminent demise, only a look of disappointment and pity. Touched, the monster hesitates. . .
This Effect activates whenever you receive a Severity 2 or higher Injury from an attack. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Select a Living target within 45 feet. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. Affected targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, for the next minute, your target will do things they otherwise wouldn’t have done, inspired by remorse for hurting such a pure soul. They will not necessarily display their emotions in an obvious way.
Actions they take will be in keeping with their character and the way they tend to deal with strong emotions. They will be unlikely to change their mind about any actions taken or decisions made until after the Effect ends.
The detective has trained their eyes to notice the smallest of details.

Your senses are enhanced in the following way.
