The Dream Engine is calibrated to detect the final, lingering brainwave patterns of the departed, ready for their integration to the Unconscious Collective. As of Firmware Update 2.0, it can also detect the delta wave fluctuations caused by the presence of objects of paranatural or alien origin.

Upon activation, faint blue waves pulse from the device, cascading across the ground, becoming more vibrant around any corpses in the area.
