Henry places his hand over an object, and his hand begins to twitch. His eyes are half closed, and he sees not the world, but a set of gravitation waves.
For reasons unknown, an AI is unable to do this. It is left on the operator to steer the analysis suite though the planes of gravitons, to seek out the past. With it, the operator can determine where it's been (although his suit's assist automatically compiles that into coordinates) and an image of the last individuals to use it.

Gen-Wyld: Beyond Natural
On March 14, 2018, a little-known company named Gen-Wyld announced FDA approval for a groundbreaking procedure to enhance a patient’s primary and secondary sexual characteristics using gene therapy. The company was an overnight success.
Shortly thereafter, they introduced a suite of gene-altering body modification procedures that allowed patients to make dramatic aesthetic changes to their bodies by gene-splicing “non-human” anatomy. Those daring (and wealthy) enough can now add cuttlefish pigmentation to their skin, sport a pair of fox ears, and even add a functional tail. While rare, these so-called “modders” draw plenty of hate from conservative communities.
Thanks to their revolutionary procedures, Gen-Wyld is now a household name. Norman Carlson, Gen-Wyld’s chief evangelist, recently announced the company is in the trial phase for a groundbreaking treatment for diabetes.
Yet despite their success, a shroud of secrecy surrounds Gen-Wyld. Their no-patent policy obscures the secrets of their procedures from the public eye. Financial experts claim that Gen-Wyld is run less like a traditional business and more like an NGO with some specific, unknown objective.
Some claim that they will not stop until humanity has been reduced to monstrous slaves and that Gen-Wyld’s board of directors will install themselves as inhuman overlords of the new world order.
However, until the true secrets behind Gen-Wyld are discovered, the genetic biotech firm will continue to grow, develop, and progress its grand designs.

With each fact, she quickly runs to a journal to write down what she has learned.

- Determine if this target is Alien in origin or whether it has any Alien energy or outside influences.
- You receive a visual description of the surrounding area, allowing you to discern where this object has recently been.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
Toll the Spirits

Working closely with the negative spirits she normally uses, she has finally refined a method of communicating to more friendly ones..
If she finds something she needs more information on, she can bury a coin and state it is an offering for the spirits, and a local spirit will enter the item to examine it, and whisper the information on the wind for momma ettu to hear.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute to activate. Select a target Object within arm's reach. You must use up a silver coin, buried in order to activate this Effect. At the end of your investigation, roll Charisma + Occult at Difficulty 6.

Dream Echoes
What we leave behind
Vergil's eyes glow blue as he focuses intently for a moment and green energy swirls about him as he focuses intently on the item and connects it with dream space to feel the echoes of the user left behind on them item. Learning how they used the item, and echoes of information that about the person who used it last as well.
Spend a minute to activate. Select a target Object within arm's reach. This Effect cannot be used unless Only works if the item would fit inside his stash. You must actively and obviously use A green gemstone to activate this Effect. At the end of your investigation, roll Charisma + Occult at Difficulty 6.
You learn all the following information about your target:
- You receive A blurb of flavor text about the individual and how they tended to use the item telling you who has used this object recently.
- You learn the object's intended function and how to use it for its intended purpose, though not necessarily the ability to do so.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
Plot Device
"There's always a bypass key, a virus key, a who-cares key, I could never remember so I always call it a "goober." Give it."
You can easily tell whether something is magical or not because if they’re the former, chances are they’re a Plot Device! And you know the tropes, you know how these things tend to go. Maybe. There’s always subversions, but typically you can easily figure out that the giant laser gun needs special laser gun fuel or that the glowing dagger holds a deadly curse. Tropes!
Spend a minute. Select a target Object within 25 feet. You must actively and obviously use glasses to activate this Effect. You cannot investigate the same target more than once per hour. At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Investigation at Difficulty 6.
You learn a single specific piece of information, chosen from the following list, about your target:
- You receive a flashback in your mind telling you who has used this object recently.
- You learn the object's intended function and how to use it for its intended purpose, though not necessarily the ability to do so.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
You cannot investigate the same target more than once per day.

Corpse Investigation
"i AM the sherlock after all"
Sherry, now starting to live up to his name, pulls out a magnifying glass and focuses his power through it. The magnifying glass starts showing him how the target died, where it last walked, etc etc. He can follow its footprint, learn if the death was of a suicide, a gunshot, a suicide, etc etc.
Spend a minute. Select a Corpses within arm's reach. You must actively and obviously use Magnifying Glass to activate this Effect. At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Investigation at Difficulty 6.
You learn all the following information about your target:
- You receive Footsteps, allowing you to discern where this object has recently been.
- You learn Target's moment of death.

Her greed knows no bounds.
The Thief examines an object closely for a minute to appraise its value. As their eyes dance across the subject, their pupils split vertically, and their irises fade to gold. If it is a particularly valuable item, the Thief may greedily lick their lips, revealing a forked tongue.
Within a minute, they have determined how materially valuable the object is and why.
