Praying on your downfall!
A 2 Gift Injure Power used by Sav'ant Amida, created by SamrinSamrin.
*Sav'ant holds onto his necklace: clutching the image of the Buddha Amitabha as he begins to sink into what looks to bystanders to be a silent prayer: immediately the person who had just been attacking him stops: before blood begins to seep out of their eyes. They then fall to the ground, and begin to yell and writhe in agony, before their suffering is ceased by a few more popping sounds, as Sav'ant stops his prayer.*
Sav'ant has gained the ability to administer Dukkha, one of the main four teachings of Buddhism, the concept of Suffering, of Pain, of Stress, and of Agony. Sav'ant requires a Buddhist Ornament such as a Mala necklace or bracelet, a pendant of a Buddha, or other similar iconography / relics of religious importance. The reason behind this is that Sav'ant requires the usage of these items in order to establish a connection into what he believes to be the realm of the Buddhas themselves, the Pure Lands, using the Ornament as a sort of transistor he then begins to mentally chant, pray, and appeal to the Buddhas of the Pure Lands for even a fraction of their power: for permission to administer Dukkha apon that which he chooses.
When Dukkha is successfully administered onto a target their only defense is their very soul, their very mind, their very consciousness, lesser beings such as animals and those lacking mental acuity will experience the brunt of this effect: while beings of greater minds will find it much easier to defend against. Regardless, Dukkha's effects on the body can be described as a direct attack on the Chakra of one's body: in other words, it attacks the organs themselves and depend on the severity of the effect: Can basically amount to total organ failure.
Dukkha can however be used in defense or against attacks, in the case of the former the attack simply just misses or strikes an invisible force as if Sav'ant's prayer had caused it to miraculously whiff, in the case of the latter when used in contest with attacks Sav'ant's prayer will cause the target's Chakra to immediately be strike: canceling their attack. In the case that the target of Dukkha is not living, this attack targets the equivalent of what would be their Chakra, such as in the case of machines it attacks their wires, their circuits, or in the case of undead or aliens or other creatures it targets what chakra points they would have.
