The flesh starts to painfully flay from Penny’s arm, forming globs of fat and pools of blood and suspending them in the air, forming a mangled shape in the air that is webbed together by strings of muscle. Relative to this, your other powers seem sterile and gothic, but this, this visceral Lovecraftian nightmare, is truly a symptom of your ever declining sanity.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate.
You can interact with things that are within 75 feet without needing to physically touch them or be near them. Lasts for the next hour. Any rolls made for Actions taken in this way use a Mental Strength of 4 in place of your Brawn rating, a Mental Agility of 1 in place of your Dexterity, and otherwise use your own Attributes and Abilities.
Telekinetic actions have the following restrictions and behaviors:
All Umbra needs is a moment of weakness to pounce. To enjoy even a morsel of freedom from her cage within Luci's Gallery. A violent torrent of blackness swells up from Luci's shadow in the form of loose and flaky blobs. Luci's signature red hair will darken to a deep black, the faded crosshair tattoo becomes as pronounced as if she'd just received it, her skin will pale as if she were dead, all of her nails become black, and her shadow becomes thick and murky- even seeming to emit small specks of ash-like matter that dissolves within moments.
This Effect activates whenever Luci takes a Severity 5 Injury or Greater or Is incapacitated in any way i.e. through a sleep ability. It does not require an Action or Exertion. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means.
You transform into Umbra for 30 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are Umbra, and you can use your equipment. The Injuries and Battle Scars of your Alternate Form and your true form are tracked separately.
While transformed, your Attributes are the same. Your Stress is reduced by 2.
If you are restricted, restrained, dazed, sleepy, or stunned, you may activate this Effect to break free or end the negative effect. You cannot free yourself by transforming more than once a minute.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation or for its duration will almost certainly be disturbed to see Umbra's manifestation. It happens in an explosion of ethereal shadow that tornados around Luci in a violent cascade. The being possessing Luci with an inconceviable capacity for destruction and death. A mere glance is all any observer needs to understand, just from the aura alone, that Umbra is not of this world and that they are not here to make friends. She is as unhinged as she is unsettling to behold...
After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk (15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.
Whenever you enter Combat, roll Self-Control. If you fail, you cannot choose which targets to attack and cannot stop fighting until there are no targets remaining.

As Eric turns on his power, his eyes begin to glow with a golden light of intensity according to the strength of his outcome. Also, the air around him has a slight mirage effect, just a bit wavy.
This is a danger sense that allows Eric to use his preternatural awareness to subtly move so that an attack will miss him (hopefully). this is represented by the barrier absorbing damage. When the barrier is overloaded then that attack actually connected but was almost avoided which is why he was not hurt as much.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Roll Perception + Alertness at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you create a barrier around yourself, which absorbs the next Outcome + 4 Damage. The Damage reduction from the barrier is applied before Armor. You may only have 1 active barrier at a time.

The beastmaster shouts, and their human voice cracks into a deep, bestial roar. Their body swells with muscle, clothes melting into a thick pelt of fur. Seconds later the beastmaster is gone. Standing in their place is a massive grizzly bear.
However, even in human form the beast within remains close to the surface, and the beastmaster finds highly civilized social situations unbearable.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
You transform into a brown bear for two hours or until you choose to end the Effect. See the Extended System text for stats.
While transformed, you cannot use any equipment (including Artifacts and Consumables), and you cannot use your Active, Direct, or Trap Powers. However, you can use your Passive Powers. Any equipment you are wearing transforms with you.

The Witch wiggles her fingers at her broomstick, and it leaps from the ground with a whoosh of wind. She may then hop on and fly around. It’s so fun, she often finds herself cackling uncontrollably.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use a broom to activate this Effect. This Effect remains active for two hours.
As long as you are conscious, you are immune to falling Damage. Additionally, you may glide as you fall, traveling 35 feet horizontally for every 10 feet you fall. While gliding, you fall at a minimum speed of 10 feet per Round.
You may ascend into the air and fly using your mind. Your Free Movement is Mind x5 feet/Round, including vertically. You cannot Dash. When sprinting, roll Mind and add your rating in Mind plus 1 to the outcome, multiply by 5 to find your sprint speed. Your encumbrance limit is 10 lbs per point of Mind.
You are subject to the following effects while gliding or flying:
